There aren’t many people in society that are truly content with the world they live in. Life doesn’t always go the way one percieves or predicts it to be, but there are factors of life that make the world spin for many. This is the feeling my song, Is This Really Where You Wanna Be tries to capture as the lull of fluttering bass and guitar riffs clash along a melo drum line. This piece was recorded by using only a USB-microphone, Logic Pro & it’s softeware drums, a Fender Stratocaster, a Tobias Deluxe IV bass, & a Blackstar HT Studio 20 watt combo amplifier. I personally am very proud of the solo work done within the song as I strived to encapsulate the ‘dance of life’ through the breezes and strains that happen as the time goes by.
